Gecko Player ("the app", "we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data the app handles.
What the app is
Gecko Player is a media player. It does not include, host or provide any channels, playlists or content. It plays the M3U or Xtream playlist you enter. You are responsible for the content you play.
Data we collect
- Device identifiers and advertising ID — to show ads (Google AdMob), for basic analytics (Google Firebase) and push notifications (OneSignal).
- App usage and diagnostics — anonymous statistics to improve stability.
- Playlist / login details you enter — used only to connect the app to your chosen provider. When signing in with an activation code or device ID these are processed by our server to enable playback. They are not sold or shared for advertising.
Data we do NOT collect
We do not collect your name, email, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos or messages.

Ads
The app may show ads via Google AdMob, which may use your advertising ID. You can reset or limit this in your device settings.

Children
The app is not directed at children under 13.
